INTEGRITY & QUALITY

Those two words explain our entire philosophy. If either one is missing, the point of being in business is lost.

A few years ago, we were considering enlarging our shop with more workers, a wider scope of clients and, of course, a better bottom line. We passed on that notion because it would be more difficult to maintain quality control. Since no one is perfect, our achievable goals seemed more likely to become a reality with fewer hands in the mix. Our smaller outlook results in paying more attention to detail to every piece of furniture that comes to us. Upholstering is definitely NOT a production line type of business.

Every piece must receive individual attention. The fact that we enjoy a brisk repeat business, both residential and commercial, is a testimony to our philosophy.

We purchased our building at 734 E. Grand River, Lansing, Michigan, a few years ago after leasing for many years. Sharon and Gary work the showroom and workroom together. Nothing is farmed out. We work with current trends and classics to help customers select appropriate fabrics for their projects.

We are proud that we helped restore the Michigan Capitol a few years ago by re-upholstering 42 antiques, which are currently in use. We are equally proud of each job that we complete for everyone.
